Meyda Lighting connects with the past through the Borough Hall lighting collection. This series has roots in the popular-early 20th Century lighting seen in the photo above. Meyda was asked to replicate this style for a municipality in New Jersey and fashion a family of wall sconces (in three variations) post mounts (two sizes) flush mounts and pendants. As luck would have it, this style was very familiar to us. Meyda’s QBG division, formerly Quality Bent Glass of New York City, performed a similar service for Borough Hall of Brooklyn in the 1970s. Meyda retains the molds and tools from that time which our skilled craftsmen used to complete the project with historic results.
